Cash Wins Cash in The Great Design Show

"Johnny Cash, The Legend" wins $10,000 first prize. (April 20, 2006)
Johnny Cash, The Legend a commemorative book produced by Sony BMG took first place in The Great Design Show-Design One competition. The $10,000 cash prize for first place was awarded to Art Director Ian Cuttler who created the Johnny Cash commemorative book. The Great Design Show-Design One awarded honors and cash prizes to 12 top finalists and 132 award winning entries from its first competition. The winners, chosen from over 7,000 entries, comprise a wide array of beautifully executed projects and can be seen on the Web site

 Getty Images ?Spirit Guide tied for second place with Rockport Publishers The Layout Workbook.  The ?Spirit Guide, an overview for internal clients of Getty Images new brand personality was created by Scott Ashworth, Design Director, and Mark Fraser, designer.  ?Spirit Guide was one of three pieces that won awards for the design team at Getty Images.  Kristin Cullen, designer, Kristin Cullen Design tied with Getty Images for the second place cash prize with her design for The Layout Workbook produced for Rockport Publishers.  The book is a layout resource tool for creative professionals.
